One gram alcohol has 9 calories. These are dead calories; not at all useful to our body.
Women you have less enzyme to metabolize alcohol. Moreover the alcohol is absorbed quickly and reaches the brain also quickly. Drink only socially, this means drink less.
The alcohol free beers could contain also up to 0.5% alcohol.
