All animal food including fish contains cholesterol.
100 gram of edible shrimps contains 140 mg of cholesterol, if you are healthy, now and then is good, but if you have cardiovascular problem, eat rarely.
It is not necessary to avoid animal food with cholesterol. Cholesterol is very much necessary for your health. Your liver produces everyday 1.5 to 2 g cholesterol.

For a healthy person, once in a week is good. If you have problems with your cholesterol or blood pressure, once in a fortnight 100gms are allowed.
